Detailed Itinerary

Day 1
Day 1
Travel to Arusha
Kilimanjaro International Airport → Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by our representative or safari guide, who will assist you with your transfer and luggage to your hotel in Arusha. As a team of local Tanzanians, we know the country like the back of our hand — so you're in for a treat from the moment you land.
Your first evening is yours to settle in, enjoy a welcome dinner, and rest before the adventure begins at first light.
🏨
Tonight's Lodging
Arusha Serena Lodge
A lakeside retreat set among lush gardens on the foothills of Mount Meru. Stone-built cottages, shaded by ancient trees, open onto manicured lawns alive with birdsong. In the evening, dine by lantern light as Mount Meru watches silently over the gardens.
Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Arusha → Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today you venture into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater — often hailed as the "Seventh Wonder of the World." Descend into this ancient natural amphitheatre for a full-day game drive among a dense population of wildlife: elephants wading through swamps, prides of lions on the prowl, and perhaps even the rare black rhino grazing against a backdrop of towering crater walls.
Ngorongoro is one of the few places on earth where all of the Big Five can be seen in a single day. The crater floor, covering 260 km², supports an extraordinary density of resident wildlife year-round.
🏡
Tonight's Lodging
Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
Carved into the very rim of the crater. Built from local stone and adorned with Maasai-inspired carvings and frescoes, the lodge blends harmoniously into its dramatic setting. From your private balcony, clouds drift across the crater floor, glowing pink at sunset.

Day 2

Days 3 & 4
Days 3 & 4
Central Serengeti
Ngorongoro → Serengeti National Park
The journey continues into the heart of the Serengeti National Park, where two days are devoted to exploring the endless plains. Here, life unfolds in epic fashion: elephants march in dusty processions, cheetahs scan the horizon from termite mounds, and wildebeest move in restless herds across golden savannah.
The Serengeti is a place where every game drive feels like stepping into a living documentary. Morning drives begin at first light and evening drives push into the golden hour — your guide knows exactly where to take you for maximum wildlife encounters.
⛺

A luxury tent camp that embodies the romance of classic safari. Spacious canvas suites with en-suite bathrooms and private verandas where you can sip coffee while watching giraffes wander past. In the evenings, gather around the firepit as the wild symphony of hyenas and lions serenades you.
Day 5
Savannah to Spice Island
Serengeti → Flight → Zanzibar · Stone Town
After a final sunrise drive in the Serengeti, you take to the skies for your flight to Zanzibar, where the rhythm shifts from wild to coastal charm. Zanzibar is more than a destination — it is a tapestry woven from centuries of trade, culture, and natural beauty, where Afrika, Arabia, India, and Europe have left their mark on every carved door and narrow alley.
On arrival in Stone Town, you check into the exquisite Kholle House — a boutique gem that once belonged to Princess Kholle, daughter of the first Sultan of Zanzibar.
🏛

Built in 1860, this historic residence blends Swahili, Arab, and European influences. Antique furniture, stained-glass windows, and intricately carved wooden doors transport you to an era of sultans and spice traders. From the rooftop terrace, watch the sunset ignite the spires of Stone Town.

Day 5

Stone Town → Spice Plantation → Nungwi Beach
In the morning, explore the labyrinthine alleys of Stone Town with a local guide. Visit bustling bazaars, ornate mosques, and palaces that whisper tales of explorers, traders, and sultans. Every turn reveals another layer of Zanzibar's extraordinary history.
Then continue to a spice plantation, where you'll walk among groves of clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg — breathing in the scents that earned Zanzibar the name "Spice Island." In the afternoon, transfer to the northern tip of the island and check in to your beachfront resort.
