12-Day Photography Safari

A Gallery Curated by Nature

This twelve-day odyssey is designed for those who see the world in frames of light and shadow. Through the lens, Tanzania reveals its soul: ancient baobabs against copper skies, lions in golden grass, rivers alive with the migration, and crater walls holding a kingdom of wildlife that has changed little since the dawn of time.
Begin at the foot of Mount Meru, then venture into Tarangire for elephant herds and a night game drive under the stars. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater — the greatest natural amphitheatre on earth. Continue to tranquil Ndutu, where predators trace the herds across mirrored waters, before five full days in the heart of the Serengeti with the Great Migration unfolding all around you.
Every dawn offers a new canvas, every lodge a retreat where comfort embraces wilderness, and every journey etches into memory. As a team of local Tanzanians, we know the light, the animals, and the land — and we'll put you in exactly the right place at exactly the right moment.

As a team of local Tanzanians, we know the country like the back of our hand — so you're in for a treat from the moment you land until you leave. Welcome on board!

🏡
Tonight's Lodging
Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge
Hidden on the slopes of Mount Meru, Ngare Sero is an oasis of peace where a private lake mirrors the sky and colobus monkeys swing through the gardens. Its colonial charm blends with nature's silence — spacious rooms open to lush greenery, meals are farm-to-table fresh, and every sunset feels like a painting. The gentle beginning of a wilder story.
Days 2 & 3

Tarangire — The Land of Giants

Arusha → Tarangire National Park · Night Game Drive
The road leads into Tarangire, where elephant herds move in graceful processions beneath the towering baobabs — ancient guardians of this vast wilderness. You spend two days capturing giraffes bending to drink and lions resting in the tall grass, each scene a portrait of untamed life. The park feels timeless, a land where the wild still rules.
On a night game drive, you track nocturnal predators — including lions and other elusive cats — under a brilliant canvas of stars. Evenings are spent at Nyikani Camp, lanterns flickering against the darkness, each dawn renewing the magic.

Ngorongoro — Afrika's Great Amphitheatre

Tarangire → Ngorongoro Conservation Area · Crater Descent
The road climbs to the crater's rim, where the view steals your breath. Below lies a vast amphitheatre of life — lions, rhinos, elephants, all within this ancient caldera. The descent at dawn is unforgettable: light spills over the rim as you drive into abundance. Two full days here allow you to work the crater floor at different hours — catching the soft morning glow, the heat-haze of midday, and the long gold light of late afternoon.
The Ngorongoro Crater is home to nearly every species found in East Afrika, including one of the last wild populations of black rhino. For the photographer, it is a studio with no equal: dramatic volcanic walls frame every shot and the density of wildlife is unmatched anywhere on the continent.
Tonight's Lodging (2 Nights)
Ngorongoro Lion's Paw
Perched high on the Ngorongoro rim, Lion's Paw is both secluded and spectacular. Tents open to sweeping views across the crater — a landscape unlike any other. Elegant yet rooted in nature, evenings gather guests around firelight sharing the magic of the day. Early access lets you reach the crater floor before the crowds. Intimate, wild, and profoundly beautiful. Day 6 — Ndutu & Lake Masek
Day 6

Ndutu & Lake Masek

Ngorongoro → Ndutu · Lake Masek
Your journey turns to Ndutu, where the plains meet calm waters. Lake Masek glimmers, reflecting endless skies, while predators trace the herds across the open land. Here, photography is a dance of light and movement — every frame alive with possibility. The setting sun paints the water in hues of gold. Night brings the chorus of Afrika just beyond your canvas walls.
Ndutu is known as one of the finest predator-viewing areas in Tanzania, particularly for cheetah and lion. The flat, open terrain gives unobstructed views and clean photographic lines from every angle.
Tonight's Lodging

Canvas tents raised on wooden decks with private terraces where sunsets spill across the water. Eco-conscious, blending seamlessly into its setting. Serengeti & Great Migration

Ndutu → Serengeti National Park · 5 Nights
From Ndutu, the land opens wide into the heart of the Serengeti. Golden plains stretch endlessly, dotted with acacias where lions lounge in the heat. At dawn, cheetahs rise with the morning light, scanning the horizon for the chase. Five full days ensure you see the plains at every hour — sunrise silhouettes, midday drama, and the blazing gold of the evening drive.
Here unfolds the world's most spectacular wildlife event: the Great Migration. Over 2.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and antelope travel in a majestic clockwise pattern across the Serengeti ecosystem in search of water and pasture. The scale of it is incomprehensible until you are standing in the middle of it — and then it fills every frame.
Tonight's Lodging (5 Nights)
Nyikani Serengeti Camp
Set deep in the Serengeti wilderness, Nyikani offers front-row access to Afrika's greatest spectacles. Spacious, refined tents with private decks opening onto untamed horizons alive with the movement of herds. Dining is warm and intimate, evenings serene — lanterns flickering as the camp glows like a hidden jewel in the dark.
Day 12

Serengeti Farewell — Fly to Arusha

Serengeti Airstrip → Arusha → Kilimanjaro International Airport
As your journey ends, the memories remain vivid — elephants beneath baobabs, lions in golden light, wildebeest crossings that shook the earth. Enjoy a final Serengeti game drive before your transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha.
Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and transfer you to Gran Melia Arusha for a hot lunch and time to relax and freshen up. Later, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight home. Tanzania bids you farewell — and we hope to welcome you back before long.
